A. Unlike many other teeth whiteners, it is absolutely safe.  We use top of the line charcoal from wildcrafted coconut, and routinely lab test to make sure Smart Ash is equally as safe as the top name brand toothpastes.

Beware products containing cheap charcoal, which can and will destroy the enamel on your teeth over time.

Smart Ash is designed to pull the stains and toxins out of your teeth as opposed to harshly scrubbing them off, so you can use it as often as you like.

We recommend using it twice a day for the first week or two when you receive your first jar.  After you feel like your teeth have reached their whitest, continue using in the morning or evening.

Some people use it every day, while others use it every few days.  One jar should last you about 6 months even if you do choose to use it every day.

A. Yes! It’s all natural, organic and non-abrasive.  We’re comfortable using it on our own children as soon as their first teeth come in.

It is safe to swallow.

We would suggest helping out the younger ones so they don’t get it on their clothes.  It can be helpful to have them brush in the bath tub 🙂

A. Wet your tooth brush, and gently dip the tips of your bristles into the powder; no need to overdo it, as a little goes a long way.

Gently brush for about two minutes.  Spit it out close to the drain to avoid making a mess.  Some people choose to use it in the shower.

Then use either water or your normal toothpaste to rinse out any that remains.

Floss and rinse again if you need to.
